ESA Amforça Sports Camp
ESA Amforça Sports Camp
During school holidays, ESA/ESTEC regularly organizes sports camps at the ESTEC premises in Noordwijk/The Netherlands in cooperation with Amforça.
These sports camp weeks are for children of the ESA staff, ESA contractors and ESA service level providers only.
Meeting and pick-up point is always at the sports hall of ESTEC. The children eat lunch together (using their own badge) and Amforça provides the children with lunch and snacks such as fruit and muesli bars. The sports camp includes many fun and sports activities and it can (for some camps) include special highlights such as a visit to the High Bay area at ESA or a field trip to the beach depending on the week.
SHIRT: The children will get a personalized, nice T-shirt during the week, which they can wear during the sports camp and also elsewhere, of course.
Please find an example schedule for a sports camp week below:

Often, there are also other sports activities done such as basketball, football, baseball and the children do team challenges or individual challenges as well.
What is needed for the sports camp?
A sports gear or sporty clothes, indoor or sporty clean shoes & outdoor shoes, sunscreen (with good weather), a hoodie and a wind/rain jacket are recommended. For swimming on Tue/Thu morning, children are expected to have as a minimum Dutch Swimming Diploma A. A towel and a swim suit/trunks, and ideally slippers are needed.
The children should take their own water bottles which they can refill during the day if needed.
FAMILY BADGES: Make sure that the children have enough cash loaded on the badge to pay for their lunch.
